I'd buy these games on the wii u regardless. Im still waiting for resident evil 6 on the wii u (if that ever happens).
Creating high quality original content could be the way to go.
i don't have numbers but from impression ZombiU seems to be doing well and rayman legends will do well ( hopeful it will sell over 1 million)
However Im afraid 3rd party success stories will be few and far between.
i fear that bayonetta 2 and the wonderful 101 will bomb hard on the wii u.
3rd Party games on the Wii U will either be:
1. Shoverlware in the same vein as most wii games
2. Milked franchises ( COD, Skylanders, EA Sports games)
3. Licensed games
It's not all that bad, i expect strong support from japanese developers. Looking at current trends Japanese developers have been generous with nintendo support (looking at 3ds support) - hopefully this continues.
Bet with ninjablade:
Ninjablade wins if the next 5 multiplat on the wii u are inferior to the 360 version.
I win if one of the 5 mulitplats are on par or superior on the Wii U.
