Why save Nintendo? Yes the Wii U did horrible in Europe (although that could possible be because of manufacturing issues) but it did respectable numbers in NA.

Overall I think the whole gen of the Wii U will probably be like this:

Japan: amazing

America: good

Europe: good or bad (most likely the latter)

Edit: besides there's only been 1 week for Europe and 2 week for America, stop jumping the gun so soon. The new year will be interesting to see the numbers.

This is in fact wrong. The Wii U had TWO (2) days of sales that week. If you think 170k+ in 2 days is horrible and weak, then there's nothing that will save it...

Doesnt' matter. These Europe sales for Wii U include months of pre-orders. You really think sales will increase next week? I can tell you right  now they wont'. They'll decrease just like they did in America. This isn't a stock issue.

Doesn't matter? Let's talk about this NEXT week, THEN we'll know how it truly went down. US had the Wii U for almost a whole week, and it sold 410k, or something like that, and you mean to say that the bulk of those sales came from the first day or two?

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
