sadly, all your equipment is lost :/ the same thing happened to me in my first playthrough.
instead of jumping right back into the story, what you're gonna wanna do is in the safe house go to the camera surveillance computer and take a look at where you can go to pick up whatever equipment you want.
it sounds a little tedious, but you'll be back on track before you know it.
