It's amazing how people with $1000+ income expect the ones with $300 income per month to buy as much games as they do.


 Are you trying to say that the Japanese are much poorer than Americans so they can't afford as many games?  Sorry, but that's not the case.  Many things in Japan are expensive such as clothes, but Gaming is cheaper in Japan than it is anywhere else in the world, look at the price of the Wii and PS3.
