That PC is ridiculously overpriced.

You can run the latest games on high settings and 1080p resolution for a while with an 800 dollar PC.

Essentially to run games at high settings and 1080p and 60 fps which is considered "max" for 90% of the people out there you need:

3570k - $200
8GB of RAM - $40
Any Z77 mobo with SLI/crossfire - $120
Decent mid tower case - $60
GTX 660Ti/HD7870 - $250
700W PSU - $80
Windows 8 - 14.99-99 dollars (depending on how savy you are)

This setup + another video card in 2 years will max any game out for at least 4-5 years.

Add a 128 GB SSD for 90 bucks but skip on the disk drive. They are pretty much useless IMO.

thank you very much sir and I was never going to buy one at that price just wondering about specs

I currently own 4 PC's and 2 of them can play games at "max". One is an HTPC and one is a server so I'll leave those out of the picture as they are not meant for gaming...but between the two gaming PC's, the price difference vs performance is quite remarkable.

Rig 1 cost me around 1500 dollars and has 3570k, EVGA FTW quad SLI mobo, GTX 670, 8 GB RAM, 2 SSD's, H80 water cooler, full tower...etc

Rig 2 cost me 600 dollars (all Black friday sale deals) and has Phenom X4 965, budget SLI mobo, GTX 660, 8 GB ram, 180 GB SSD.

On a standard monitor with VSYNC on both offer pretty much equal performance. However on a 120 hz monitor, the 1500 dollar PC shows who is boss as it's able to offer me 100-120 fps in most games. For regular monitor users, anything over 60 is just a waste.
