Mass Effect 1 on PS3 has long load times, pop-in and frame rate issues

I will be getting the trilogy when i'm done with either bioshock series (just got the first), jak series (about 50 % done) or the god of war series (finished 3 out of 5 games). Or i might just get it sooner as one of the first pc games i buy.
