my mother.... vouched for him. ugh. his wife works for my mom as a teacher in her preschool. this guy, as i found out, is a deadbeat. the job with me is his first real job (aside from racketeering), despite the fact that he's 32 years old. his wife brings home the bacon.

Maybe talk to your Mom to get the wife to get the guy to lay off?
