N64 all the way.
As a side note... overpowered and not efficient? WTF does that mean?
How were the N64 and Xbox "overpowered"? They both came out over a year after the first consoles of their respective generations launched, so I should hope they were both more powerful than their competitors.
And the only thing non-efficient about either console was the N64's cartridge format which put developers in a bind for larger games that were heavy on CGI cutscenes and redbook audio.
