OT: I've noticed that as well. But context is key. If a person consistently bashes VGChartz data for no reason, then sure I'll be annoyed.
But if someone has sufficient reasoning to support their claim, then that wouldn't be annoying at all. In fact, I encourage such behavior as it informs everyone of a specific error and lets them know how the market is truly behaving. I also wouldn't be upset if that same person used the accurate data later. It's established that some of our data is more accurate then others, so it's understandable if a person discriminates between what to trust and what not to trust.
