I wiil break down by region 
Europe: Like you pointed out the PS3 is ready to outsell Wii in the next year (maybe 2014) but that's a future fact... only the end of the world could stop that to happen.
My lifetime prediction (2016): 47 million
Japan: PS3 needs a little less than 4 million to outsell Wii here but the sales are slow for both consoles... even so the PS3 is outselling it by 10-15k every week... I guess there is no room to PS3 surpass Wii but the end it's be close.
My lifetime prediction (2016): 13 million
US: 360 is the big win here, it will outsell the Wii in the next year for sure... I can't see the PS3 toping the 40 million Wii have today but the gap is to decrease fast.
My lifetime prediction (2016): 33 million
US + JP + EU (2016): 94 million
Plus 20% others sales (LA, Canada, Mexico, Asia, etc)
WW (2016): 112 million
The 115 million is because I expect to PS3 continue to sell after the end of this gen in emergent markets like PS2 did... so 3 million is to be made by these terms after 2016.
