Let me try to rewrite what I meant.
You go to your bank, withdraw money out of your account. Then go to their bank, fill out a deposit slip with their bank details and give to cashier to deposit into their account. Label it gift and no name.
Alternatively I guess you could get a money order (similar to a cheque, not sure if USA has them) or something (they are annonymous) and post it to them.
