Gaming Everything
While speaking with Major Nelson on his weekly podcast, Geoff Keighley provided new information regarding reveals for the 2012 VGAs.
Joining the already-confirmed premieres for The Last of Us and Gears of War: Judgment will be South of Park: Stick of Truth with the first gameplay of the title, “new content” from Tomb Raider, and new footage of BioShock Infinite. For Gears of War, Microsoft will be showing a first look at the single-player campaign, including the main enemy.
That’s not all for premieres. Brand new titles will be announced during the show, of which Keighley teased:
“And of course we’ve got some amazing surprises of announcements of new games that will be coming in the future, far beyond sort of summer of 2013. And can’t say a lot about them until the show happens, but I think we have a pretty good reputation for revealing some new games and there are going to be some fantastic titles to reveal.”
The 2012 VGAs will be shown worldwide at 9 PM EST next Friday. You’ll be able to watch the proceedings on TV, Xbox Live, or through Internet streams.
