Surprisingly, this. I was/am hyped, but I haven't payed full price for a game since... 2008. I'd rather wait and pick it up for £25-£30 in a couple of weeks, by which time it will have been patched to fix any bugs and probably balanced a bit better too.
I suppose you could argue that I'm clearly not that hyped if I didn't want to get it straight away, which may be true. But I have trouble understanding why people buy a game at launch when you know it's going to be 25% cheaper and probably patched to be improved just a couple of weeks after launch. If I had tonnes of money I'd probably do it, sure, but I don't. £15 saved by buying late is a lot of money to me! Meh.
