Vita Black Friday was a huge success, gaining 0.4% on 3DS.

Is that not even a bigger reason to celebrate? going from 12.9% to 25%. That's almost doubling what it's been.

but look at this from the different side.

during 2012 sony claimed that xmas will "save" vita, because its BIGGEST, most imporant games coming, like assassin's creed and cod (not counting japan, there system has zero system sellers and completely dead right now).

if during black friday with such an AMAZING deals and most important games it sold just 160K, how it continue to sell after the holidays?... em... i can't see something really positive. no new games like ac and cod (declassified is crap, but it has name) coming in upcoming months... We can only expect Vita to drop to 40-50K/month in US (+again, dead in Japan), like it sold last months, according to npd data...

on other hand, 3ds deals during bf was not so great + no new system-selling games during black friday, but of course monthly it break 400K or so + amazing jp sales.

all said, this vita's 160K still not showing very bright future.
