I remember distinctly when I first got on YouTube (2006 roughly) an argument about consoles being sold at a loss and I said "It is common practice especially early on to sell at a loss to gain market share as make money from other avenues (peripherals, software, etc.)"  and was told that such a business practice was illegal and I needed to "go back to school".  I quoted articles released from the companies themselves (ex: Sony) and was then told that "What? Do you run Sony or something? Go back to school."

I have avoided any "discussion" on YouTube since that error.  My favorite was a cat video descending into political vitirol. 

This forum is much better informed than majority I've been on, even with the occasional nutter.

yeah stay away from religion arguments too on youtube haha.  Im sure everybody in here has seen at least one of those haha  I have never been in one but they are amusing to listen to.  Its like to boulders trying to push one another.
