I remember distinctly when I first got on YouTube (2006 roughly) an argument about consoles being sold at a loss and I said "It is common practice especially early on to sell at a loss to gain market share as make money from other avenues (peripherals, software, etc.)" and was told that such a business practice was illegal and I needed to "go back to school". I quoted articles released from the companies themselves (ex: Sony) and was then told that "What? Do you run Sony or something? Go back to school."
I have avoided any "discussion" on YouTube since that error. My favorite was a cat video descending into political vitirol.
This forum is much better informed than majority I've been on, even with the occasional nutter.
