The PS names in Japan use english numbers however... but still I think they are going to skip "4" for this reason all the same. 

So...  PS5 confirmed? 2020!  They need to just call it playstation 4, and move on.  Either way you look at it, it's still the fourth home console.  I'd much rather they call it PS4, and not confuse everyone..

For you maybe, from a cultural aspect PS4=PSDeath in Japan. People in Japan will not take to it with that name.
