3DS and DS confusion?

The DS is good enough for most parents who only want to give their kids a videogame and don't spend too much on it. Also, it's true there's a lot of confusion, but there are a lot of people too who know very well the differences and simply DON'T WANT 3d for their kids. There's a serious concern in most parents that something may happen to their kid's eyes, it doesn't matter how many times you explain them they're not willing to pay more for something that may be harmful. I think this is the main reason the 3DS won't be as popular as the DS.
