You're absolutely correct! Because when people see the name Nintendo, they know what they are getting. 

 

 

 

Yep, but its fanatic, just like apple, people who can pay 200 more than others just to play with the new hardware(not even most powerful than the others) of Apple/nintendo.

Yeah, because that's what everyone wants in a console; the latest and greatest hardware, not the games. 

What I'm getting at is that people do indeed buy Nintendo because its Nintendo. The reason is, they know they can't get what's offered by them anywhere else.
