i can only speak for myself but

1 - 32 Gb is a joke.   really bad joke at that.  i'd get a minimum of 500 Gb external so 32 vs. 8 is the difference between terrible and really terrible.

2 - not my bag, don't want it at any price.

3 - meh.  i'm indifferent personally.

4 - i can get that but there aren't that many games on e-shop yet.  how much would you save if you bought the entire catalog of games?

I wasn't saying that those were good reasons for you, just good reasons for other people.

1 - I never said that 32GB were a good amount, but it is better than  8GB

2 and 3 are here just to remember that both are reasons for someone to choose, i know you are not one of them, but there are A LOT of people that would care about those reasons

4 - This goes until december 2014, not 2012. seriously you don't think this is a good deal!!!?

You asked the difference and i gave you 4, it doesn't matter if you don't care to them

and i started by saying "i can only speak for myself".  but honestly, anyone who doesn't particularly want nintendoland i think the basic is still the better deal financially speaking.  i guess i'm just surprised at how much more desirable the delux seems to be.   a 50% attach rate would be ridiculous for most games so i'm surpised half the consumers wouldn't just prefer the basic as I would.

I think it's because that extra $50 gets you a game you could sell off if you so wish, plus you get 4x the storage as well as a discount on everything purchased from the Nintendo Online Store.

I think it's 20% or something for the next year or two.

Its 10% or $5.99 per full priced game you purchase (every 10 games get a free one?) That is actually a nice deal. You also don't have to save it as you can use it as you want afaik
