It certainly became relevant when you claimed to belong to the majority in response to it. The 360 and PS3 didn't sell because they produced prettier pictures. They sold because they were getting all the big third party games while the Wii got nothing.

ps360 got the big third party exclusives because ps360 had enough power to let developers create new ideas into their gameplay while the wii's stagnant hardward stifled their ability to be creative and innovative in their way.  nintendo only has themselves to blame... give the finger to the industry expect to see just as move love in return.
