I'm baffled by those claiming there are no supply issues. I was trading in some games at a local game store on Saturday when my transaction was interrupted by a call to the store:
"No, we don't have any Wii U in stock. When will we have some? I dunno, maybe the new year."
WalMart, Future Shop, Best Buy online stores all say sold out. Future Shop and Best Buy web sites confirm their local retail stores are also sold out, but tell me I can find some if I'm willing to drive over a province or two.
Maybe your neck of the woods has plenty, but that doesn't mean there aren't sellouts elsewhere, and selling out at any retailer constrains how many consoles Nintendo can sell this holiday.
