Hmm, interesting question.

I think my signature pretty much sums up my allegiance in terms of gaming. I often wonder if if this puts people off talking to me who are maybe new to the site or have never interacted with me before, or would lead to them to believe I have an agenda before I've actually said anything.

But you know, it really doesn't bother me. Fact of the matter is: I do spend the vast majority of my time gaming on Sony consoles through choice, but I also enjoy a significant amount of time gaming either on PC or Nintendo home consoles. Two of my favourite games of all time were Nintendo first-party offerings; a vast amount are PC-only games.

If people wish to label me as a fanboy, to my face or behind my back, or spend their time searching for some hidden agenda I'm trying to push then that's their choice. The validity of their belief may be vastly removed from reality, but I'm not going to lose any sleep from them choosing to follow it. There's probably some element of truth in there anyway despite my best efforts to remain 'neutral'.

Also, what Sales said. As much as it pains me to agree with him twice in two threads (BECAUSE HE'S AN XBAWKS FANB... just kidding :P), it's the internet. If I ever feel like I'm getting too involved, I just shut my laptop down and walk away. No biggie. It's never gotten to that stage, but I know the option is there if I need it.
