New experiences are needed to wow customers. The tablet controler is cool. It's different. People notice that more than more detailed graphics. People will see the GamePad and say, "oohhh, that's hi-tech, like an iPad". Xbox and Playstation will need something like that to make people take notice. More polygons will only cut it for tech-heads.
