| Chandler said: Install base kills the Vita and I have a feeling that whatever Sony does about it will be too late. I'm pretty sure most third parties have jumped ship by now and even if the Vita starts a glorious comeback it would take a lot of time for third parties to release something meaningful. I don't see how Sony could keep the Vita afloat alone for a year until third parties have something to show.
Vita hardware is pretty decent but the Software is just garbage to mediocre for the most part. Maybe I'm just buying the wrong games. |
I'm starting to suspect this myself. Even if vita hardware picks up it won't be supported if the software sales don't show. People can call out 3ds for it having a much larger install base but the vita is aimed at the people who buy assassin's creed and call of duty. And they aren't outselling 3ds games. Sony systems are supposed to be safe to make games for because they don't have to worry about mario and friends. So much for theory.
One more thing to complete my year = senran kagura localization =D
