OK, so I woke up this morning to get an early start on my gaming, because once either my wife or son gets up, which they usually do at the same time, they tend to ‘interrupt’ my gaming experience. So before long they did wake up and did interrupt my bonding session with my Wii U.

My son wanted to watch Netflix, so I quit my Mario U session and started up Toy Story 2 in Netflix and had it running on the TV. Then I proceeded to grab my laptop to go and surf the web L. But then I had an Epiphany, and thought, is it possible to let my son watch Netflix on the Wii U while I turn on my 360 and go play some more Skyrim?

Well, with the Wii U it was all made possible since, I could switch the Netflix viewing from the TV to the Wii U Gamepad. I then switched the audio receiver over to the 360 and then booted up my 360 and played on the TV while my son is oblivious to how awesome the whole experience is. I mean how cool is that, that you can actually be using two separate consoles and experiencing them at the same time? Not only that but then it's possible for my son to quit Netflix and go play Mario U while I'm in the same room playing my 360 and without interrupting my play. I think that is quite awesome.

Nintendo and the Wii U made this possible, and such is one of the many reasons I love my Wii U.

The important question is, why watch Toy Story 2 when it is clearly the weakest movie of the trilogie lol :P

But yeah, I love gamepad mode because it allows other ppl to watch TV while I play and I also usualy use it when I know I have a TV show coming up in 20min so I can play and watch whats on TV assuring me that I don't play for to long and miss my show :D

Now that's awesome. But I got one better I think. So I was also surfing the web on the Wii U looking at Amazon since I'm thinking about buying my wife a new laptop for Christmas. Then suddenly she walks in the room, so I didn't want her to see I was shopping online, so I closed the curtain on the TV (non Wii U-owners don't be perplexed) and continued shopping on the Wii U How cool is that?
