Ah, assassin. The read circle doesn't really mean much. It just means that he's about to get dizzyed or knocked down. If you get hit, the circle becomes less red. And no, you can't kill him, you just have to damage him enough for him to get tired. you'll get a massage in white that says grendel is getting tired, then a yellow message, then a purple message, and finally a red message. once you see the red message, it means grendel is now low on hp. You have to tire him out in less than 10 min. otherwise, he'll destroy the gate. trick is to stick it to him and not stop attacking for anything. Or, if you need more time, here's a trick. But for this to work, you'll need a stun resist or immunity card. the trick is to keep on pumeling grendel until he decides to use his chest pounding attack. the one that lets louse a bunch of sweat and stunds you if you get hit. after that he'll jump and belly flop on you and you die. Anyways, with the stun resist card, you can recover faster or you wont get stunned at all, now while he's doing that stupid chest pounding, pruposely get hit by the sweat, you will get a status ailment, and that will serve as a beacon. when grendel does the belly flop, he will home on your location. so what you do is get hit, then run as far as you can from the gate. when you seen grendel jump, dash once then do a double jump, you'll be able to avoid the belly flop and grendel will be farther from the gate, giving you more time to beat his ass. |
I see. I also insuiated the red circle meaning their health as that is what it indicates on every monster and every boss beforehand.
I got a purple message I believe...
