I understand why they did it but 12 seconds!? the 1 point alone would taken another 3-5 sec of the clock, the cowboys would've taken a knee themselves to end the game. even if cowboys somehow returned the kickoff to a TD  even with their fastest person would've taken about 8 sec to run assuming they caught the ball at the 20. that alone would've probably ended the game
