really TC... MS desire to "monopolize the video game industry via online gaming", is that written down somewhere, they send you a memo back in 2001, you run the board meeting that day.... or is this just a silly conclusion that you came up with in deference to the PS fanclub.
I'm guessing the latter. In fact, I'm sure of it.
Let me point out one quick thing about your fantasy/lie/made up nonsense... smart companies, like Microsoft, Apple, Ford, LG..strive to 'lead', not monopolize. In the global marketplace, there's no long term return with a monopoly. Pay attention would ya'.
You know it's pretty easy to state that MS isn't achieving their goal when you subjectively change that goal to suit your own argument. But, and again..pay attention.. when you do that, it immediately dismisses your viewpoint as prejudiced drivel, thereby completely failing your initial purpose in the first place; 'to win an argument or state a valid, supportive point'
Why is it that PS fanboys are the most opinionated, biased group of gamers on the planet?
Seriously, what is wrong with you guys?
Little more common sense would be nice.

Do you even know why MS got into the video game industry?

As long as Sony is winning in Asia, and Europe for that matter, MS is failing. MS and Sony have two different goals, and MS's is far more complex. It reminds me of how the Confederacy simply needed The Union to back off in order to win the Civil War, but The Union needed the Confederacy to actually surender in order to win. Not only is Sony not surendering--if you will--they are selling more per year than MS, which results in Sony continuing to gain ground over MS (although slowly).

So before you start criticizing me, and calling ME the fanboy for that matter, read up on the subject.
