Fact is the Wii U's CPU is slower than the competition which means that they would need to spend extra money to port the game over. Then add the expected sales for this already relatively small IP for a recently released console (whose previous installment showed low interest for mature games) and you will realize that porting the game would be a near idiotic move. The only scenario where spending extra money on porting the game over to the Wii U would make sense would be if they expected future profit for being loyal to the system's install base, thus increasing sales for future installments. The truth is though that the future is very cloudy, and that current trends indicates that ignoring a Wii U port will result in the most profitable situation for the company. |
true, but if they ever do decide to port this game to Wii U, maybe now would be a better time. Cause in the future anyone who would of wanted to play this game would have played it and won't buy a 1-2 year old game on the Wii U. But best decision is they probably shouldn't port it, and Wii U fans shouldn't care as its not really that important of a game anyways.
