The title makes an assumption that I don't believe to be accurate.
Point 6 refers to a single giveaway, that Microsoft did for no real reason. Live is not going to fail because MS chose to give away some consoles, when people weren't even expected to get anything anyway.
5) Is a good point, but is so far from a reason for xbox live to fail that I am confused as to why it is in the list.
4) Seems like the point of someone who has decided on their conclusions before thinking through their arguments. I happen to think that I will learn more from the hour of a game the developers chose to show me, than the first hour of the game, which will likely be boring tutorial for the most part.
3) Ok, the title is "Why xbox live is failing", and he talks about something that has been true for many, many years? Xbox gold has cost money for 10, and consoles have offered online multiplayer with no monthly fee since the NES iirc.
2) Ahh yes, a dig at all services that both charge money and have adverts. Cable tv, live sports (or any live event for that matter), brand name clothing, dvds and blu rays. Are they all doomed as well?
1) Yes, another advantage of PS+ over xbox live. But if this were going to kill xbox live, it would have done it years ago.
4 points that are irrelevant, incorrect or unimportant
2 points that are no more true now than they were 4 years ago
XBox live is DOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!!!
