So you can actually store and run Wii U games from an SD card.

But in OP, the SD card is placed in a USB adapter, and needs to be formatted just like an EHD. You can't put PCfiles on it, just like an EHD, unless it's partitioned.

Yea, I approached it the wrong way with my response.  This could be a nice addition for someone that is going to just buy eshop games (not retail Wii U games on eshop) but the smaller ones.  If you are going to download full retail Wii U games then you might as well go with an external USB drive.
