This isn't about the SD Card slot, it's about the USB slot. You guys are confused because the previous press article mentioned that the SD slot was not meant to play WiiU games afair.
But in OP, the SD card is placed in a USB adapter, and needs to be formatted just like an EHD. You can't put PCfiles on it, just like an EHD, unless it's partitioned.
