isn't there like a saying, like "if you have to ask if something is wrong, it is wrong."
You've tied your shit, so deal with it maybe you feel guilty. You'll get over it. Asking this forum full of people on a high horse, that probably do much worse things isn't going to help.
Nor are you going to get a unanimous support from people here, saying that what you did was fine.
