Did you have a black bar on the left side?  The problem I'm having looks more like its overscanning in all directions.  I was just going to live with it, it didn't occur to me that it might be a faulty system.

Looks like we're not the only ones having this problem according to this GAF thread.

Here I am thinking my hardware was defective and it's more common than I originally thought.  Hopefully we'll get a patch to clear this up soon.
