Name a "hardcore/mature" game that doesn't indulge adolescent male fantasies?

I think Mario games are considered a casual/platformer designed to be enjoyed by gamers and non-gamers alike.

Which means it can fit with hardcore/mature.

I wouldn't consider it a core title by the demanding standards that most of us play today, but if you're a hardcore mario fan, then definitely by all means call it what you will. I could play mario all day, but again, it wouldn't consider it that..no. Its not mature by any stretch of the imagination.

Its a casual and gamer draw, but no I wouldn't consider it amongst hardcore games. As a lifelong gamer, it would consider it nostalgia by now. I can't get mario out of my system.
