Check my post above.   The signal can be extended.   The signal protocol being used is designed for it.   They've not spoken about it yet but I'm sure they will at some point.  In fact, all routers with Miracast included should, in theory, be capable of extending the range.

I dont doubt that, but why hasnt it been done now?

Miracast is very new.  I think it just launched in late September.
