I remember when the PS3 and Wii came out (and possibly the PS2). Many retailers knew people really wanted to buy the system and the only way to get one was with these store specific bundles that forced you to buy shitty games, peripherals, and cleaning kits. You had no choice but to buy all of this stuff you didn't want just to get the rare console that you did want. I never did like that practice.
At least we don't see that with the Wii U, yet. I think it's going to happen as we approach Christmas if the Wii U is in really high demand.
