Am kind of in the regret it pile right now. I picked up the deluxe model along with Zombie U and New Super Mario Bros. U.

Nintendoland is very meh ... tech demo just as expected but I did not buy the system for it anyways so it was just a nice pack in I guess.

New Super Mario Bros. is every 2d Mario game you have ever played. It is enjoyable, but there are zero new features of any note aside from the rather nice graphical upgrade. Is basically New Super Mario Bros. Wii/DS with a graphical face lift.

Zombie U: This one was dissapointing. I guess I had the impression the game was not going to be so linear. Linearity can work in a survival horror game, but the game barely qualifies as such. It is hard to get a feeling of dread when I constantly have Prepper or Pepper or whatever is name is blaring his radio in my face. The immersion killing Wii U pad does not help matters either. It is a standard and very pedestrian attempt at a survival horror game. I hear the multiplayer is good though (local only makes it rather worthless for me since I am not going to talk my gf or anyone else into playing it more than once).

Overall I am not impressed, but I kind of bought it on its future potential (Rayman, Pikmin 3, Super Smash, ect.)

If you for some reason only have a Wii and you are looking to get into next gen gaming then this console is perfect as there are already a slew of ports of a bunch of big games that came out in the past year. If you are like me (and most gamers I would imagine) you have an Xbox 360, PS3, or PC so the group of people who can benefit from an upgrade to the Wii U are quite limited.
