YEEEEEEAAAAAH!!!!! The update has finally finished! Now on to NSMB U or Zombie U.
But first my impressions so far:
1) The console feels light (in a good way) and well built. Not to many fans and vents, so it looks well built, and not knocked together.
2) The Gamepad feels excellent in weight and dimensions. The button feel excellent as well, the triggers for example not like those 'tings' on the PS3. The Wii U triggers actually feel like buttons. But it is the D-pad that shines, as it feels really good, not stiff and unresponsive and in need of a good Stree Fighter breaking in. Nintendo knows how to make a good D-pad. I have not tested the touchscreen as yet other than to set up the console, but it works great so far.
3) The console is easy to set up, i.e. internet and TV remote were a breeze. However, that dam software update is a mother! I mean it's like updating your PS3 long
I'll be back with some game updates and Miiverse, and other soon. Other please post your impressions as well.
