It won't upscale but won't the output be at 720p or 1080p with the HDMI cables?  I have no clue but I just picked up a Wii U so after patching for a hour or so I'll give it a try.

It defiantly looks better through HDMI. I was ussing proper cords for my TV it just looked terrible no matter what. It must be the HDMI.
