The Wii was a revolution, the Wii U is not.

Most 3rd parties weren't successful on the Wii, no reason to believe they will be on the Wii u. Once again the Wii U will be under-powered compared to the competition.(In fact is roughly on par with current-gen consoles) Nintendo's online infrastructure is at its infancy, and Nintendo is asking people to buy their own storage so they can store all their digital downloads.

Nintendo says they want to appeal to both core and casual gamers, but its clear they are only appealing to the casuals. The tablet controller is proof of that, it won't work for core games just like motion controls didn't work. It is a gimmick. What's that? You say we can use the Pro controller? Well that's true but its sold seperately...

Nintendo is making a lot of mistakes with the Wii U launch. The certainly aren't appealing to the core gamer beyond the Nintendo faithful.
