| HappySqurriel said: On the Kinect being more appealing for dance games: Just Dance 4 Wii, 6 weeks on the market, 799,246 sales Beyond that, the statistics are a couple years old (and I can't find the graphic anymore) around half of XBox 360 and PS3 owners also owned a Wii; which worked out to be roughly half of the Wii's userbase at the time. How does this match with your assumption that "The bulk of the 95 million or so who've bought the Wii are casual gamers" Not making a claim about you in particular, but I love how certain Sony/Microsoft fans can go from claiming that their Wii collects dust and that they are dissappointed with Skyward Sword/Mario Galaxy 2 to then claiming that no-one except casual gamers ever bought the Wii. I know you prefixed this para with "not making a claim about you in particular", but what's the relevance at all? I've not said either of those things. |
I meant it will be more appealing to them than the Wii U dude, in fact will Just Dance even be on the Wii U? If so it'd use the Wiimotes right? Then the casual audience that wants that would just play it on their wii or the nextbox. The Wii won't matter next gen obviously, but the kinect will still be around.
edit: actually, just re-read. I never made it clear that I meant in comparison to the Wii U. My bad.
