Not all that surprising since Windows 8 seems better suited for handheld / multimedia devices rather than every day PC work like Windows 7 is.

And why won't M$ understand that most people do not want to change their OS every 3 years or so? The best thing about XP was that it had the longest lifespan of any flagship OS from M$ in the modern PC era.. took nearly 6 years for Vista to come out after it, and by then most people had settled into XP and Vista was an unnecessary upgrade in many people's eyes (myself included). Then they corrected most of the mistakes they made in Vista with Windows 7, and now that has started becoming the defacto OS for most people, finally convincing them to upgrade from XP or get a new PC/laptop altogether.

Now just 3 years after they right the ship with Windows 7 they want everyone to upgrade again, this time to an OS with a questionable interface that throws conventions out the window? Yeah, good luck with that.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
