Well then it's Nintendos fault for shipping such a pathetic amount.

According to a report from GameStop, Nintendo will have shipped more Wii U's for launch than any other console before it by a wide margin.

 

It's not that they shipped a pathetic amount, it's that pre-orders ate up 95% of all units.
