Why Doesn't Nintendo Just Make Games Like Zombi U On Their Own?

Nintendo's core gaming base are the Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, and Donkey Kong fans; and they are served by several of Nintendo's most major dev teams.

What I ment by "core gamers" was the general, unspecific "core gamer audience" that apparently likes "dark" and "mature" games...
