There is nothing wrong with the connection there but what is going on is Reviewers are looking at it from a console perspective rather than a handheld's perspective. Or they are standing at the top looking down rather than at the bottom looking up. The fact the games are comparable in graphics to PS3 should be a plus, but instead they are super critical about Vita games missing small details like a PS3 version would have. The same thing happened to the PSP. Crisis Core and BBS are remarkable looking on a handheld.....but then you get critics saying that they wish the environments were more interactive etc, rating the graphics or presentation lower.

But you are inviting such comparisons when you make games that are exactly like console games, only smaller and uglier. I can understand the point of view that reviewers should take into account the platform and not hold, say, Uncharted: Golden Abyss to the same graphical standard as Among Thieves, but research has shown that people spend most of their handheld playing time at home. Or I could have possibly made that up. Regardless, portability is just not that much of a seller for the type of person who likes Call of Duty and wants all the blood and thunder and bombast they've come to expect from the console games. If you can't fit all of the bells and whistles they want into a handheld version, then you shouldn't even try.

In short: MOAR GRAVITY RUSH.
