It will end up being a combination of gamecube and wii. As a hardcore gamer who's a Nintendo fan this is greatly preferable to the wii which was my least favorite Nintendo console of all time. Nintendo will sell fewer consoles than wii but they will sell more games and dlc to those who bought than console on average. Many we consumers were willing to buy a console for wii sports but then didn't buy very many additional games over time.
