Right, a far better pitch. But also a risk of overpromising. I've read several articles of how unrealistically ambitious this project is and that it's almost guaranteed to disappoint in the end.

I really want it to succeed though.

An indie game with a $14 million budget ($4 mill crowdfunding + $10 million from risk capitalists) over two years of development is truly exciting!

Well the plan is to keep updating the game past launch, they likely won't manage to deliver everything at launch. But if it's a success it should continue to evolve long after launch.

Yes, but the articles on Penny Arcade and whatnot said that Chris Roberts promises so much on so many areas where he and his studio lacks the expertise and experience, and that this game is pretty much the most ambitious game project presented of all time (they compared to Molyneux' failed promises) and that even an experienced sudio with a far bigger budget than $14 million would not be able to deliver on all the promises.

They basically painted him as delirious. Although in a loving way, they all obviously wants him to succeed. I think everyone does.

I'm definitely gonna support this game if it's good (meaning that for once I'm not gonna pirate a PC game). I'm very hyped about this, Elite and Sui Generis. (Especially Sui Generis! Just wow.)
