Not sure if already mentioned.
Not a hope in hell that VC will be ported over to native WiiU so not a chance in hell will work on gamepad.
The work required to port the whole library over would be astronimical due to totally different architecture of WiiU -> Wii. It would basically mean coding everything from scratch (not the whole game) but each emulator and each profile for each emulator.
No way would they do that because there would be no return for their work.
Since Nintendo do everything rounded, bouncy and in friendly little animal ways...there's no way they will do just some, it's all or nothing otherwise it's not Nintendo.
