Why Nintendo won't make a second Super Mario Bros. game for Wii U

Do we really want another New Super Mario Bros. game for a while? Or would it be better just to add some extra content via DLC, in some of the extra modes? Since those extra modes are said to almost be better than the main part of the game, by some reviewers.
